City Clinics The Players Trust created the City Clinics program to help Major Leaguers address the dwindling number of African American and inner-city youth playing baseball. Through this program more than 7,800 disadvantaged youth have received free hands-on instruction from some of their local big league heroes.

Program Highlights

Inner-city children participating in these free clinics receive hands-on instruction from current and former pros in areas such as base running, pitching, hitting, throwing and fielding.  During each session, City Clinics’ attendees also participate in a question and answer session with active Major Leaguers, and receive free equipment, t-shirts and autographs.  During the 2016 season, City Clinics will be held in Boston, Los Angeles, New York, Tampa and Washington D.C.
