Program Highlights

Major Leaguers provide Buses for Baseball groups with memorable ballpark experience.  As the invited guests of the players, groups of under-served youth receive free transportation, T-shirts, tickets, food vouchers and are personally greeted by the players, who sign autographs and pose for pictures. To date, more than 15,600 children from 315 organizations have attended a Major League game – most for the very first time – as guests of the players. In 2014, Buses for Baseball rolled into 15 locations: Anaheim, Atlanta, Chicago (Cubs and White Sox), Cincinnati, Cleveland, Houston, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Diego, Seattle, Tampa and Washington DC. More than 85  Major Leaguers greeted youth from KidWorks, L.E.A.D., and Urban Women’s Safe Haven to name just a few of our guests. Also this season, FOX Sports Regional Networks teamed with the Players Trust by providing free trips to six of our Buses for Baseball visits on their luxurious Fox Sports Express Buses.
