Program Highlights

Buses for Baseball groups receive free transportation, t-shirts, tickets, food vouchers and are personally greeted by the players, who sign autographs and pose for pictures. To date, 15,000 children from 300 organizations have attended a Major League game – most for the very first time – as guests of the players. In 2013, Buses for Baseball rolled into 14 locations: Arizona, Baltimore, Boston, Denver, Detroit, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, Milwaukee, Minnesota, New York, Oakland, St. Louis and Toronto. More than 100 players participated, greeting youth from the Cool Kids Campaign, Urban Women’s Safe Haven and Special Olympics, to name just a few of our guests.
