Watchung Hills Regional High School ACTION TEAM Raises $4,000 For Local Cause

Watching Hills Senior High School at their first event, a 5K, which raised over $4,000 for disabled youth.

Congratulations to Watchung Hills (NJ) Regional High School, one of our newest Action Teams, for raising more than $4,000 to support the Lakeview 5K.  In all, the 5K collected $50,000 for New Jersey Institute for Disabilities on June 7 in Roosevelt Park, the most ever for the sixth annual fundraiser, organizers said.

New Jersey Institute for Disabilities provides comprehensive services to more than 1,500 developmentally disabled infants, children and adults from throughout the state.

In addition to raising much needed funds, the Action Team Captains volunteered in support of the event.  Needless to say, the Action Team from Watchung Hills is off to a running start.
